The 9HP kart is powered by a Honda GX270cc which is the most common engine used by rental karting centers. It delivers great fun and is suitable for all racers. The 15HP kart is powered by a tuned up Honda GX390cc. A small amount of tracks offer the 390cc due to being restricted by track size, width and design. The engines have an incredible amount of torque which pulls through corners with ease. For those drivers looking to experience high end karting look no further. Can I still kart in wet weather?
Yes, karting in the rain or on a wet track is not dangerous, it is a great and fun experience. So please ensure that you make allowances for wet weather by bringing a change of clothes and wearing appropriate attire. karting will not be cancelled if there is wet weather. 15HP Karts will not operate in wet weather or if track surface is wet. Groups that book on the 15HP karts will be changed to the 9HP karts if rain occurs and the track surface is wet. However, if the weather conditions are deemed to be dangerous, karting will be stopped till the management team finds it safe enough to return to the track. In extreme weather the track may be closed. We will not operate during dangerous or inclement weather conditions. In the event that your karting is postponed or cancelled you will be contacted, and your deposit will be transferred to your rescheduled date.
