At Picton Karting Track, we turn your typical day out into high-stakes kart racing events featuring professional grid starts, competitive qualifying heats and intense wheel-to-wheel battles that will leave your heart pounding.
PKT offers four kart racing events, each featuring a specific class of high-performance go karts, age requirement and race structure. Select the format that suits your experience level and preferred style of competition.
Designed for drivers aged 7 to 13, this event uses PKT’s Junior Karts. Participants sign in at 5.30 pm before completing an eight-minute qualifying session, a 10-lap heat and a 12-lap final, followed by a presentation.
Drivers aged 14 and over race in 270cc 13HP karts. After the 5.30 pm sign-in, participants complete an eight-minute qualifying session, a 10-lap heat and a 12-lap final before finishing the event with a presentation.
This faster Sprint Night is available to drivers aged 17 and over using 390cc 18HP karts. Sign-in begins at 7.15 pm, followed by eight minutes of qualifying, a 10-lap heat, a 12-lap final and a presentation.
Teams of two to four drivers compete in 390 cc, 18 HP karts. Registration starts at 5 pm, qualifying begins at 5:45 pm and the race runs from 6 pm to 9 pm. Five mandatory pit stops apply, including two kart swaps.

We host regular Junior, Senior and Super Sprint Nights alongside our competitive 3-Hour Team Endurance Races throughout the year.
Our public Sprint Nights are open to individual racers, whereas private group race event packages require a minimum of 10 drivers.
Our scheduled public race nights share the circuit, but private group bookings receive exclusive use of the track for the duration of their session.
No previous experience is necessary. All participants receive a professional safety briefing and expert driver training, making our races accessible to everyone.
